Börek is a savory pastry that can be found all throughout Balkans, Turkey and the middle east. It is usually filled with spinach and feta and sometimes can be with ground beef.
This Borek is made by chef Senem Sanli who is also owner of LOKL HAUS, a coffee shop in Santa Monica that has also won La Times best coffee shop on the west side.
Simply reheat it in a pan (no need for oil) and enjoy with a meal or as a snack!
Ingredients: filo dough, spinach, feta, onion, salt and pepper. Contains gluten!
